barn door...

The girls came in today with their Spring school pictures. They are really good!! I thought, "wow, I don't even mind spending this OUTRAGEOUS price for them."

Now if you know me, you know I pay attention to detail. In some things. Like pictures.

This is Jaycee. I love this pic...new shirt, new Converse tennies, beautiful smile.....she is stylin'.

This is Kenna....also stylin. I love her pic also....cool necklace, zebra belt, headband,(not the shoes I preferred but you can't win 'em all).

THEN, I see it. Her zipper is open. WHAT!?!?!
Are you serious?!?!!? Oh yes, it may not be visible on the blog photo, but it will be in the 8x10 I'm going to display in my LIVING ROOM.

She wasn't as dramatic/over-reactive as I thought she could be. She actually laughed about it. She thinks I should send it in to Ellen's Bad Paid for Photos. LOL...I love that kid!!

ODD

Please excuse any odd looking blogs, I'm still getting used to this.

It took me FOREVER to add those photos in the previous post. I'd like to add a video.....I'll try it here!

OK..Odd video. I wasn't sure what I was adding because I didn't have a preview.
That was the day we drove over to Fayetteville Lake to check out the camping. It was obviously Cold and WINDY! Grant didn't seem to mind! And I don't know what Jaycee was saying due to the wind, but whatever it was, she was EXCITED!! LOL!

Let's do another shall we...

WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!? These apparently live down the road from us. We saw them on our way home the other day. I had to stop. When I started taking pictures, this one just came over to us. It's like a cow/zebra/deer/goat. Anyone who can ellaborate on what this is, would absolutely make my day.
Thank you and God Bless..

WOW...

So I went to this 9 mile antique thing today, I don't know the actual "name" of this event, but it's held in Warrenton/Round Top twice a year. I went with my buddy Molly to deliver some furniture to her MILs booth...anywho-

This place was AMAZING!! I was awestruck! (is that a word?) There were so many things I can't begin to tell you what all was there. Let's just say you could decorate just about anything you wanted in just about any style/theme you wanted with things from this fair. There was furniture, metal art, wooden tables, dishes, chairs, beds, all old, all antique. It was great! I didn't buy a thing.

(but we're going back Friday..heehee!)

After we got back, Shawn wanted to go for a scout ride and show us girls a new road he and Grant found. This is where we ended up.....

Yes, those are my children in the cold creek, having a blast. They played for a while, ending up soaking wet! Jaycee even lay down in it! They all road home in their undies, wrapped in a blanket!! Good Times!!

The week looks to be busy...my baby boy will be 3 on Friday *tear*. Party to follow.

Bye for now.

Spring Break

The kids and I got to travel to Oklahoma during spring break. First stop.....Grandma and Pawpaw's!! The kids always have so much fun. They get to gather the chicken eggs with Pawpaw, make cookies with Grandma, and do absolutely whatever they want with Aunt Kerri and Aunt Kristi! They are only a pinch spoiled!

We drove down to Wichita Falls one morning to meet Gina and Quint at Jump for Joy. What an amazing place!! There were 5 LARGE bouncy "things" and for $7 you could bounce ALL DAY!! It was crazy busy (of course, Spring Break) but we all had a great time. And parents can play for free!!! Then our most favorite, Chinese buffet for lunch. It was a good, good day. LOL!

On Tuesday we headed out to Nanny's. My brother there. That night, Nanny taught us all a "new" game. Spoons. That's right, people. I've never played spoons before. And let me just say, I'm glad it's not called Forks. 'Nuf said.

We also learned a new game while we were at Grandma and Pawpaw's. Rummykub. Yep, never played that before either. We brought that game home with us!!

We took a trip to the zoo with Mimi (her first in about 17 years :) ). Once again, crowded. Matter of fact, it was a record breaking day for attendance at the OKC zoo. As it was last year when we went. We're just lucky like that I guess. :o}

Friday was spent mostly on the road home. A little detour to see my good friend Katrice at her Mom and Dad's. We surprised her, it was great! Wish we could have stayed longer though.
Got home that night at 11:45. up the next morning to head to Austin for Jaycee to get her award and Shawn to go boot shopping. We at on Lake Austin at the Hula Hut....YUM!

I love getting away, but now I need a few days to recover. To the moon and back, my friends......
