Recently we took a trip to the South Llano River State Park outside of Junction, TX. It was so pretty there....clean, clear water, birds chirping...serene. These are a few shots taken while we were there.

This was taken by the guy we rented the 2nd canoe from....the whole family just before our 4 hour canoe trip.

Headed down to the river to go fishing. Has somewhat of an "Andy and Opie" feel, huh?

The last day, the girls fianlly convinced Shawn to take them tubing. It was icy cold water, but they enjoyed it...Grant and I spent our time fishing (feeding the turtles is more like it!)

Happy Easter...

I finally got over to the field I've been eyeing to get some pics. This field is gorgeous and is literally right around the corner from our house.

You know we can't take pictures without incident....they are just acting silly here.

One of the good ones.....I think I took about 30. I ended up with probably 3 or 4 usable ones.

To Sleep but yet to Dream...

I hate it when I can't sleep.


I have no one to talk to and so much on my mind. Not that they'd want to hear it. It's all rambling garbage. lol But still, it must come out. Period.


It's 3 am. Why can't I be this awake at 6. or even 7.

I started a load of laundry. I don't wash clean clothes.


Do you?


I don't.


SO why are there ALWAYS clean clothes in the girls' hampers? Because it's easier to put them there, then put them away. Logic, duh.

I went to Hobby Lobby today. New addiction. Hobby Lobby coupons are the bomb. If it ain't half price, use your 40% off coupon. Know what I had to use my 40% off coupon on today? A plate holder for $2.99. That's becasue everything else I bought was HALF OFF. BBWWWWAAAAAHAHAHAHA. New addiction.

I'm drinking my sleepytime tea, this post might get even more random.
